Immersive and interactive visualisation of music in three-dimensions based on the listener’s mood.
Euphoric is a redefined music listening experience using cutting edge technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR) and Brain-Computer Interfaces. Users get to witness the visualization of the sounds in three dimensions provided they enjoy what they’re listening to. The system comprises an AR Head-Mounted Display (HMD) and a portable Electroencephalograph (EEG) device which is worn by the user. The EEG measures the brain’s electrical activity and computes a quotient based on the user’s excitement levels and relays it to the AR device. The AR device based on this excitement quotient renders a 3D visualization of the music in your surroundings in real-time. The intensity of the visualizations is directly proportional to how much the user likes the song that is playing. The visualizations are made using Unity's Shader and VFX Graph and also adopts SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) to significantly improve the immersion. The system also employs a hand tracking sensor allowing the users to interact with the visualizations in real-time.
